Low Cost Ways to Prepare Your Home for an Inspection

1.  Have HVAC serviced and cleaned if necessary.

 

2.  Inspect under sinks and closets for mold and remove.

  

3.  Replace light bulbs as needed.

 

4.  Repair leaks - like faucets and under sinks.

  

5.   Repair broken receptacle faceplates and j-boxes.

 

6.  Test water pressure - if over 80 psi a PRV valve may be needed.

 

7.  Flush the water heater if needed.  Directions are at Rheem.com.

 

8.  Test smoke alarms and replace batteries.

 

9.  Clean out gutters and downspouts.

 

10. Repair loose or broken stair or deck railings.
